A total of 117 participants from PAM GKI Siloam Yopmios took part in a Spiritual Tour to the GKI Imanuel Wariab congregation, Ransiki Classis, in a meaningful and memorable journey. This series of activities served as a space for young people of the church to meet and connect—not only strengthening the bonds of brotherhood but also igniting a renewed spirit of service and faith as the younger generation of the church.

The journey began on Friday, August 1, 2025, by sea from Yop Island to Ransiki. Upon arrival, the participants were warmly welcomed by members of the GKI Imanuel Wariab congregation. The event was officially opened on Saturday, August 2, 2025, in a worship service attended and inaugurated by the Regent of South Manokwari, as a form of government support for the role of youth in shaping a positive spiritual and social life.

Throughout the week, participants were actively involved in a variety of spiritual, educational, and recreational activities. The program included:

  • Planting black fruit trees, symbolizing care for the environment and hope for fruitful service in the future.

  • Construction of a commemorative monument in front of GKI Imanuel Wariab Church as a sign of love and a spiritual footprint from this visit.

  • Bible Quiz Competition (CCA) to deepen the participants’ understanding of God's Word.

  • Friendly Football Match, fostering sportsmanship and teamwork.

  • “Ranking 1” Quiz Competition, initiated by youth leader candidates, to test knowledge and encourage confidence in a joyful setting.

  • Visits to historical sites in the Ransiki area, as part of cultural and historical appreciation.

  • Group Morning Exercises, promoting physical health and shared enthusiasm.

All activities were carried out in an atmosphere of gratitude, enthusiasm, and sincere fellowship. Participants felt genuinely welcomed by the GKI Imanuel Wariab congregation—especially by the Youth Fellowship—who demonstrated Christlike love and openness as part of the body of Christ.

The program is scheduled to conclude on Friday, August 8, 2025, with a closing worship and joint reflection on the faith journey they’ve shared.

Through this spiritual tour, PAM GKI Siloam Yopmios (Windesi Classis) and PAM GKI Imanuel Wariab (Ransiki Classis) were further affirmed as the backbone of the church. The activities provided space to share ministry experiences, strengthen fellowship as brothers and sisters in Christ, and awaken a deeper awareness that the future of the church lies in the hands of its youth.

The youth participants expressed their hope that such programs would continue regularly:
“Events like this are valuable because we gain new knowledge—not only about ministry and fellowship but also about our identity as youth of GKI, continually guided by the light of God’s Word.”

As the week drew to a close, one resounding truth emerged: a new spirit was growing in the hearts of the young people. It wasn’t just about the fun or the journey—it was a spiritual experience that left a mark, reminding them what it means to be youth who testify, serve, and build the church of today and tomorrow.

This spiritual tour was more than a scheduled visit; it was a sacred moment to rekindle the flame of youth ministry as the living strength of the church. Despite different backgrounds, personalities, and stories, the participants found unity in the love of Christ.

This is not the end—but the beginning of a longer journey of youth ministry: stronger, more united, and deeply rooted in faith. From Wariab, the spirit has been planted—and it will be carried back to each local congregation, to be nurtured, cultivated, and—at the right time—to bear visible fruit in service to God and His church.(Nius Yual)
